Breast Cancer
My mom has breast cancer. They removed the cancer yesterday. It's scary! I'm so grateful that she didn't listen to her Dr. who didn't want her to have a mammogram because "she's over 65". Because she went to a different Dr. and insisted on getting a mammogram, she has a 95% chance of having a full recovery. If she would have waited a year she would have been in real trouble. I'm glad the Holy Ghost prompted her to have the mammogram and that she listened! She has to have radiation treatment but so far, she doesn't have to have chemo. The oncologist might change that but for now, radiation is the plan. Brian doesn't have a job still, but he's still looking. This cancer thing has made me realize that there are many, many blessings in my life and I am so grateful for them! Things could be worse...

WOW!!!I'm so sorry to hear that! I'm certainly grateful that your mom was persistent and found it early. Hope her recovery is a speedy one! Praying for you guys and the whole job thing too! You seem to be handling things better than I could ever imagine doing! If you ever need a shoulder don't hesitate!
